The problem with a technical tour is the very wide range of technical knowledge likely to be found within the set of visitors to this site. How to accommodate everybody?
I think the best way is to have one tour, but with different starting points. Clicking on the transistor below will lead to a technical overview, one which starts out very elementary and then becomes somewhat more involved. The link at the bottom of that page then merges into the "high tech" part of the tour, which becomes very involved.
